About
Hi, I'm Greg Hulsmann.
I’m based between the UK and Germany, and over the years I’ve had the chance to work in Ireland, Belgium, Germany, and the UK — experiences that shaped both my career and perspective. Right now, I’m also studying Business Management part-time at University College Dublin, keeping my studies aligned with where I want to go professionally.
Tech-wise, I enjoy working across infrastructure engineering, software engineering, web development, and iOS app development - iOS development is more of a hobby. I’ve also picked up a good understanding of DevOps and a lot of project management experience along the way, which makes building and running projects feel a lot smoother.
When I’m not in front of a screen, you’ll probably find me out exploring — whether that’s traveling to new places, hitting the road on an adventure bike, or behind a camera capturing moments that catch my eye.
Work
I’m currently an Infrastructure Engineering Manager at Nationwide Building Society, where I get to lead multidisciplinary teams and help them do their best work. I’m passionate about using technology to create positive change, and I strongly believe diverse perspectives make teams stronger and solutions better.
For me, teamwork is everything — I enjoy building collaborative environments where people can thrive and where shared goals feel genuinely achievable.

Wenn die Menschen nur über das sprächen, was sie begreifen, dann würde es sehr still auf der Welt sein.
